Between September 2010 and February 2011 I was involved with the education programme at Kingston Museum which is managed by Caroline Burt. Run in conjunction with the Muybridge Retrospective Exhibitions at the Museum and Tate Britain.
Bringing Muybridge to life: This flexible, fun and informative workshop has already been very successful with a number of schools and youth organisations suitable for a range of ages and abilities. Participants develop a wide range of skills including communication, planning and confidence building in a fun and friendly atmosphere while learning about the beginnings of animation and cinema. The results of the workshops are then processed and put onto a CDROM presentation that can be copied and sent to student, parents, promoted on the school's or organisations web site...
